After 33 years of service, Robert M. Zahn retired from Chewning + Wilmer on April 5, 2019. Robert began working for C+W in 1986 as a journeyman. He advanced to foreman to project planner to project manager over the next 14 years. In 2001, Robert became a shareholder and was named as Vice President. In 2008 Robert became President and has served as CEO/President since 2009.
Robert has been a leader of our industry locally and nationally. He has taught classes at the local RJATC, served on joint IBEW-NECA committees and been the NECA chapter President for three terms, represents our industry as a member of Electri International, NECA Peer Group member.
Under Robert’s leadership, C+W has experienced continued growth. Annual revenues have more than doubled since 2008 and C+W has opened a new engineering and industrial division in Texarkana, Texas. The team that he has assembled is poised to continue to grow and lead our industry for decades to come.
Congratulations Robert on a career filled with accomplishments! Enjoy the next phase of your life with your wife Karen. There are too many golf courses left to tame – keep it in the fairways!
